As part of my commitment to get moving more this year, and as part of my lifelong commitment to raise money for charities I believe in, I'm running in a charity scavenger hunt race (the Great Urban Race) in NYC on August 4, 2012.

Great Urban Race participants across the country have the option of entering as St. Jude Heroes and raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which I am absolutely on board with. 

In 2012, my team raised a total of $1100. We were the 5th-highest total fundraising team at the NYC event.  We're hoping to top that total this year, with the ultimate goal of being the top fundraising team at the event (a lofty but not impossible goal)!

I would greatly appreciate if you would consider sponsoring my team, the Hashtags.  It's as simple as taking the money you might have spent on lunch or dinner one day and donating it to help the children of St Jude.
